So I went to Star Wars again last night with Erika. She's a good driver... better than my brother; she is A LOT better. Yoda sufficiently fucked shit up even after a second time. I don't think that scene will ever become boring, because... motherfucking Yoda... holy crap. I saw Mike while exiting the movie. He agreed with me about Yoda.
I'm upset that Erika is leaving, and in July. I'm going to miss her a lot, a real fucking lot. I couldn't live without her for a week when she was in Seattle. HOw am I going to get through until December? Grr. It's good for her though, that she is going to Costa Rica. It's an experience not all of us get to have. I just wish she could leave a bit later so I can hang out with her more of the summer.
I had a soccer tournament all weekend, besides today. We did very poorly. Then again, we played TVU and some Vermont ODP team. We lost to TVU 5-0... it was an awful game. I actually played farely well. Then we played the Vermont ODP team. They were a bunch of cockheads. One threatened Brendan and said, "I'm gonna kick your ass, you fucking faggot." Brendan simply responded, "I'm very happy you're going to kill me." Then he continued with his ascinine insults which are completely overused, simply because they are used at all. (i.e. faggot, homo, and other stupid homophobic comments) Again, Brendan responded, "Please refrain from making derogatory comments regarding my sexuality," in front of a bunch of parents. That game was fun though. The sad thing is, the big Vermont state team only beat us 3-0... and what makes that score even worse is that three of our players got red carded, so it was 8 players vs. 11, and they still managed only three goals. At the end, I said fuck it, ran up the field on a goal kick, and yelled for Mark to kick it to me. Of course, ebing the horrendously stupid kid Mark is, he kicked the ball out. Oh well. That all took place Sunday. On Saturday, we took a split and won one and lost one. Against TVU I took a huge shot in the nuts... I went straight down. The kid put his studs into my crotch. It was not a fun experience. I got though, and beared the pain.
Today has been rather relaxing. Basically, I sat out on the screen porch a whole lot. During this time spent on the porch, I read a lot, and played chess with my father. I beat him once, and we tied another game. Though he might possess a phD in mathematics, I still own him in chess. The only reason we tied anyways, is because I made a stupid move, and left him in a stalemate.
Maladroit is veyr good... it's no Pinkerton or Blue Album (and yes, blue album is better than Pinkerton), but it's still good. (except for the song "Slob" which sucks) "Burndt Jam" sounds like the music from Super Mario World on Super Nintendo when you are on the world map.

Blah! Friday rox0red. It owned everyone. Trust me.
While everyone was off at their silly banquet, I vasked in the glory of the decision to not go with who I was indeed going with, and cut out for an open mic instead.
Everyone who played was amazing. Toby was really really good... I got him on tape, as I did with all others who played, but alas, I missed his first song on tape. ;_;
At the end there was this woman who came on. She was amazing... literally... amazing. She'll go places.
Onwards.
After the open mic, I went to Spiderman, along with Lauren, and ltos of people who worked at the coffee shop. Spiderman was FUCKING good. I got in around 3:00 am. 'Twas an awesome night.

Today, in response to the swastika, Lauren Durette and I stood outside on Washington St. where the sign is. We held up signs that said "Unity," and "Stop the hate," etc. Lots of people gave us thumbs up, or honked. I'm glad lots of people could support anti-hate.

I despise my town now. I absolutely loath it.
Of course, override 2 1/2 didn't pass, so now the schools are fucked. All the buildings besides the high school close at 6:00, so that eliminates adult education. Also, the funding is considerably slashed, and they won't replace teachers who have retired. Now the class sizes will be huge. I really hope I transfer to Moses Brown junior year. Too many old people voted who thought their social security would be better spent on Power Ball tickets instead of education.
Also, this morning a swastika was painted on the sign for Temple Etz Chaim, a Jewish temple right near my house. They put a cloth over it, but this afternoon they took it off and put up a posterboard saying, "Franklin is no place for hate." I wish people could accept others. I really do. And even though those neo-nazi assholes decided they would be hateful and paint a swastika, I garauntee the people at the Temple still don't hate them, because they know to accept.
Blah. I want to leave Franklin.
